About Me
I am a dynamic and highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University, specializing in Child Play Therapy. I bring a powerful blend of clinical expertise, cultural awareness, and real-world experience to my work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across diverse settings.
My clinical interests and expertise include trauma-informed care, family systems, fatherhood engagement, anger resolution, and crisis intervention. I am deeply experienced in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and therapeutic group facilitation. My work is rooted in strengthening family dynamics, improving emotional regulation and emotional intelligence, and empowering clients to achieve long-term, sustainable change.
As a recognized Certified Master Trainer in the Nurturing Fathers Program and a leader in fatherhood-focused family engagement initiatives, I am especially passionate about helping men, husbands, and fathers rebuild their identities, develop emotional intelligence, and create healthier relationships with their children, spouses, and families. My work expands into community collaboration, including partnerships with schools, treatment centers, and correctional systems. My approach extends beyond traditional parenting—I guide clients in developing the mindset, communication, and emotional awareness required to become better husbands, more present fathers, and men of integrity. Through this lens, I help clients redefine masculinity, strengthen relational bonds, and build legacies rooted in stability, respect, and connection.
My passion for this work is driven by a deep belief that healing within the family system can transform generations. As a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, I am committed to breaking cycles of trauma, strengthening fathers, and helping individuals rediscover their purpose, resilience, and capacity for growth. Clients can expect me to be authentic, direct, compassionate, and fully invested in their progress.
Outside of my clinical work, I am a 500-hour certified yoga instructor for men and fathers, integrating mindfulness, movement, and mental wellness into my holistic approach to care. I value continuous intentional growth, community connection, resilience, and elevated self-mastery.
